Physiotherapy for the Hampton Park area
Fountain Gate Physiotherapy is located within 10 minutes of Hampton Park. This makes it ideally situated to provide Home Visits for both Physiotherapy and Myotherapy to the Hampton Park area.
There are extra costs for home visits. If you are well enough to make your way to the clinic then this will of course mean less cost for you.
The clinic is located on the corner of Homestead Way and the service road of Princes Hwy. If travelling from Hallam you have two options to reach the clinic, either using Hallam Rd or Shrives Rd. When using Hallam Rd it is best to turn right at Western Way and use the side streets.
When travelling along Shrives Rd, you can either turn left at Valley Fair Drive in the Webb St shopping centre or left at Princes Hwy.
We are open late each night and we also open on Saturday mornings. Appointments are necessary so please call or email us to make one.
Physiotherapy and Myotherapy clinic
There are many services available at the clinic including:
- Physiotherapy
- Clinical Pilates - small group reformer sessions available as well as 1-1
- Myotherapy - muscle techniques such as dry needling, cupping and deep tissue massage
- GLA:D Hip and Knee Program - for mild to severe forms of OA. Good even for those waiting for a joint replacement
- Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation - specialised assessment and management available
- Men's and Women's Health
- Sport, Work and Traffic Accidents - No excess for TAC claims.
Generally a referral is not required to see a physiotherapist or myotherapist. If you are coming under a Workcover claim a referral is required from your GP.
Physiotherapy can be bulk billed via Medicare for a maximum of 5 visits per year. You will require a referral from your GP for this under the Chronic Disease Management program.
Treatment is predominantly hands-on with a focus on both injury recovery and further prevention.
You will be provided with stretching or strengthening exercises to assist with your recovery and if suitable clinical pilates group classes are available.
