Benefits of in clinic therapy
Having therapy in the clinic has a number of benefits for clients under the NDIS (National Disability Service). By being in clinic travel costs are not added allowing you to use your NDIS funding for therapy. If the clinic is located near you then this could be a good option for you.
In the clinic we have treatment rooms that allow manual techniques such as massage to be carried out. Being on a treatment bed is more comfortable for both the client and the therapist.
The clinic also has a fully equipped rehabilitation gym. It isn't possible for this equipment to always be available in your own home. Furthermore, the NDIS does not fund gym memberships. Exercise supervised by a physiotherapist can be funded through the NDIS.
How to get an NDIS appointment?
For an appointment, simply call the clinic or book online (only for in clinic appointments).
We do have a referral form for NDIS clients that is best to complete prior to the appointment. We can email it to you when you book.
This form provides us with all the information required for billing, what your goals are and where you would prefer your therapy sessions either at home or at the clinic. We can then bill you directly either after each appointment or monthly (for self managed) or invoice your plan manager.
