NDIS and Physiotherapy
NDIS and physiotherapy
Are you funded by the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) and have decided to self manage your funding? Did you know you are able to select any service you believe will be of assistance? You can also select any clinic near you to provide that service.
If you decide to go ahead with this you are able to pay your provider in 3 ways:
- You can discuss with us the possibility of paying invoices within 7 to 30 days.
- You can submit a payment request to NDIS one week prior to obtaining the service.
- Pay for the service upfront and request a refund from the NDIS
If you choose one of the first 2 options we will need to create a service agreement prior to beginning treatment. We are able to create this with you if you will find option 3 too difficult to manage.
Here at Fountain Gate Physiotherapy you will be able to access physiotherapy, myotherapy, or clinical pilates. The physiotherapist will be able to provide rehabilitation for a variety of complaints including chest physiotherapy, spinal injuries and some neurological conditions. Myotherapy can be used to reduce muscle pain or increase flexibility. We are able to provide treatment for adults or children either at home or in the clinic.
So if you require management of a long term disability or disease and think physiotherapy is right for you, we are happy to work with you through the NDIS using whichever option you want. Simply call us or send us an email and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Good afternoon,
I’m just wanting confirmation that you are able to do home visits for physiotherapy?
I have a mother and daughter who both require physio.
Thank you,
Hi, can I use NDIS funding for myotherapy sessions? I’m self-funded.
