Thong joined Fountain Gate Physiotherapy in 2018 to begin work as a Myotherapist. Thong is dedicated to your identifying the causes of your pain and providing an individualised, effective treatment plan.
With over 5 years of experience practising as a Remedial Massage Therapist, Thong is completely committed to the long term recovery and well being of his clients.
Education
Thong graduated with a diploma of Remedial Massage in 2013 and further his education by graduating with an Advanced Diploma in Myotherapy in mid 2017.
Thong is able to provide Myofascial release, Deep Tissue Massage, Dry Needling, Trigger Point Therapy, Cupping, Muscle Energy Technqiue, and Manual Lymphatic Drainage.
In 2019 he completed a course in understanding Multiple Sclerosis. This course is run by the University of Tasmania and endorsed by the MS Society.
Career
Thong opened a massage clinic after completing his certificate in Remedial Massage in 2013. He is currently working at both Fountain Gate Physiotherapy and another clinic in Knoxfield. Thong hopes to increase his hours at the clinic over the coming months.
Thong is fluent in English and Vietnamese.
