Education and Career
Brett completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) at Monash University in 2021, building a strong foundation in evidence?based assessment and treatment. He then spent two years working rurally with Gippsland Southern Health Service, where he gained extensive experience across inpatient, outpatient and community settings.
Through their graduate physiotherapy program, Brett worked closely with senior clinicians in chronic pain management, neurological rehabilitation, orthopaedic rehabilitation and lymphoedema care. This diverse caseload strengthened his ability to assess and treat common conditions such as knee pain, shoulder pain and lower back pain.
Before joining Fountain Gate Physiotherapy, Brett provided patient-centred physiotherapy in both community and aged-care environments. He has a strong passion for helping people reduce pain, restore movement and regain confidence in their bodies. Brett uses exercise-based rehabilitation, education and hands-on treatment to support individuals experiencing lower back pain, recovering from shoulder injuries, or managing persistent knee pain. His approach focuses on empowering clients to improve their strength, mobility and long-term wellbeing.
Brett is committed to ongoing professional development and continually refining his clinical skills to deliver high-quality, evidence-informed care. He is dedicated to providing a valuable, supportive and personalised service to every client he works with.
Outside the clinic, Brett enjoys playing sport, spending time with friends and family, and taking his two energetic Border Collies for long walks. He also has a strong personal interest in mental health and is currently completing a Certificate IV in Mental Health, further enhancing his understanding of the mind–body connection and its role in pain and rehabilitation.
